We are proud to announce that Dr. Lenka Galčíková, from the Institute of Information Engineering, Automation, and Mathematics (IAM) at the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology, Slovak University of Technology (FCHPT STU), has been honored with the prestigious Student Personality of Slovakia award for the academic year 2023/2024.

The 20th anniversary ceremony of the Student Personality of Slovakia awards took place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Pálffy Palace in Bratislava. This event is organized by Junior Chamber International (JCI) under the patronage of the President of the Slovak Republic, the Slovak Rectors' Conference, and the Slovak Academy of Sciences.

In the category of "Informatics, Mathematical and Physical Sciences," our PhD student Lenka Galčíková (supervised by Associate Professor Juraj Oravec) was recognized by the Student Personality of Slovakia award.

Additionally, Ing. Lenka Galčíková, PhD., was honored with two special awards: the UNIQA Sustainability Award and the BMW Innovation Award.
